Ullswater is my favourite lake and this is a view of the Patterdale end of it.
I try to take the routes not used by others which is another way of saying I get lost a lot and this view along Patterdale with the sun coming in from the top of Kirkstone Pass is one of my favourites. I sat around for quite a bit waiting for the sun to come out (that was my excuse anyway).
This was my reference photo. My photographic skills are very poor, as is my phone camera, but I always think it doesn’t matter because the photo is just the idea and, as usual, I’ve taken a few liberties with the truth.
The lake disappears off to the left for about 7 miles, here’s a photo I took looking left down the lake
Limited Edition Canvas Print – £60
All Canvas prints are stretched over a standard 18mm wooden frame with satin finish. They are ready to hang and don’t need to be framed if you don’t want to.
They are the same size as the original and signed on the back. Here’s what it’ll look like if you have a red sofa with very neat cushions.
Thanks, hope you like the painting.
